Proxy traffic has more than just response body

A more reliable plan should start from real logs and put protocol overhead, failed retries and business fluctuations into the same caliber.

    Determine average transfer volume

    Prioritize reading the proxy log or browser network panel; when there is no data, use the business scenario preset as the starting point.

    Choose the correct request volume caliber

    Select "Total Request Volume" if there is a total amount; select "Daily Activities" according to activity planning; multiply by the number of threads when the request volume belongs to a single thread.

    Add balance and check billing method

    Allow 10%–30% for fluctuations and retries, and confirm whether the plan is in GB or GiB.

Reduce useless transmission first, then increase traffic

Enable gzip or Brotli when the target supports it; intercept images, fonts, CSS, and JavaScript when only text and structured data are required; use ETag or If-Modified-Since for stable resources; set a retry limit for failed requests. The optimized average transfer volume should refill the calculator.

About proxy bandwidth estimation

How many proxy requests can be sent for 1 GB?

Depends on actual transfer volume per request. In decimal terms, it is about 10,000 times at 100 KB/time and about 2,000 times at 500 KB/time, both of which do not include safety margins.

Should the response body be filled in or the full transfer volume?

Prioritize filling in the average transmission volume observable by the billing system. If only the response body can be obtained, the safety margin should be increased to cover request headers, response headers, redirection, and transmission before failure.

Will failed requests consume traffic?

Probably. Data that has been sent or received before the failure occurs, as well as subsequent retries, may be entered into the meter.

What is the difference between GB and GiB?

A decimal GB is 1,000,000,000 bytes and a binary GiB is 1,073,741,824 bytes. The final product billing instructions shall prevail.

Is the recommended price the final bill?

No. It simply classifies current estimates upward into traffic buckets for easy comparison and does not represent real-time pricing, inventory, or actual supplier measurements.
