MiyaIP network tool

IP Address Lookup
See location, network, and security signals at a glance

Query any public IPv4 or IPv6 address and quickly learn the approximate location, operator, ASN, proxy characteristics and blacklist status. No registration is required and the results are for network diagnosis reference only.

Understand a network from its IP address

IP profiling, WHOIS, DNS, Proxy Checker, Speed Test, anonymity test and blacklist test are open, and all conclusions follow the principle of fact first.

Check authoritative DNS directly from root delegation, or compare common records with PTR results from public recursive resolvers.

Start query

Batch verification of connectivity, latency, egress and anonymity characteristics of HTTP and SOCKS proxies.

Check now

Browse public proxies by country and protocol and check latency, online rates, anonymity levels and recent detections.

What is an IP address?

An IP address is a numerical identification in the Internet Protocol of a networked device or network outlet. It helps data find its way back and forth, but is not itself equivalent to a name, account number or home address.

IPv4

Consists of four groups of decimal digits, such as 192.0.2.1. The address space is small and it is still the most common form of public network address.

IPv6

It consists of multiple groups of hexadecimal numbers, has a larger address space, and is gradually becoming popular in mobile networks and new infrastructure.

What can usually be inferred?

  • Country, region or cityAccuracy varies with network and database updates.
  • Operators and Network OrganizationsIdentify the ISP, enterprise, or cloud service network that manages this address segment.
  • ASN and network segmentUnderstand the autonomous system to which the IP belongs and the public routing scope.
  • partial safety signalIncludes proxy, hosting, Tor and public blacklist status.

What can’t you tell from IP alone?

  • Precise home addressGeolocations are mostly city-level estimates and cannot be used as house addresses.
  • Personal name and identityThe IP itself does not carry real name or account information.
  • Full browsing historyAn IP lookup cannot tell which websites the address has visited.
  • User's true intentionProxy or blacklist signals do not equate to a conclusion of malicious behavior.

Risk conclusions must be explainable

MiyaIP limits high risk to Tor or multiple blacklist signals, and labels proxies, hosted networks, or individual blacklists as medium risk. Mobile is just a connection type and should not automatically be considered an anomaly.

low risk
No proxy, hosting, Tor or blacklist signals found.
medium risk
To discover proxies, hosting or a single blacklist, you need to use scenario judgment together.
high risk
Tor or multiple blacklist signals are found, further verification is recommended.

Try it with a familiar IP

These public DNS addresses are good for understanding how different network results are displayed.

Before and after the query, you may also want to know

Is IP geolocation lookup accurate?

Country-level results are generally more stable, with city and postal code accuracy affected by carrier exits, mobile networks, address assignments and database update times. Don't treat the results as pinpoints.

Why is the city displayed different from my actual location?

What the website sees is often the public IP of the operator's exit, enterprise gateway, mobile network node or proxy server, which may be located in another city.

Do proxies, hosting, or Tor flags indicate malicious intent?

Doesn't mean. These fields describe network connection characteristics rather than user identity or intent. Risk conclusions need to be judged based on account behavior, access frequency and business context.

Why do the blacklist results change?

Different lists have different inclusion and removal rules, and the status will be updated over time. Single list hits should be further verified and should not be directly used as the basis for bans.

Will query records be uploaded?

The page only saves the latest 5 queries in the localStorage of the current browser for quick query again. You can click "Clear History" at any time.

Does this tool support IPv6?

Supports legal public IPv4 and IPv6 addresses. Private, loopback, link-local, document-reserved, and other non-publicly routable addresses will be rejected.
